Lecturer: Costel Ion, CFE

• Passionate investigator and anti-fraud professional with 15 years of law enforcement experience in the fight against cybercrime and organized crime, both nationally and internationally

• Certified Fraud Examiner and holds a Master's Degree in Organized Crime.

• From 2002 to 2014, he was in charge of combating the cybercrime phenomenon that took place in the Romanian city of Râmnicu Vâlcea, known as "Hackerville"

• From 2014 to 2017, he worked for the INTERPOL Global Innovation Complex in Singapore, focusing on the design of specialized investigative methodologies, training and tools to counter the use of anonymization techniques and technologies by criminals.

• He is currently Regional Head of Group Audit Investigations for Germany and EMEA at Deutsche Bank AG, responsible for leading internal investigations with critical and significant impact on the bank.
